(also on the subject of LARPing it occurs to me that my favorite character I’ve ever LARPed was a hyper-reactionary woman who thought that society was going downhill because no one respected the gods anymore but was pretty hypocritical about it–she thought that women should be submissive to their husbands but was scheming and ambitious in her own right, and believed in the virtue of chastity but was kind of a slut. so uh)
